Our vintage Altec Lansing Voice of the Theatre system began life in the now decommissioned Mountbatten Theatre. It was salvaged by Trodden Boards from a warehouse in Southampton, where it is believed to have been dormant for over three decades. 

The system consists of a pair of 511B high frequency horns, which have undergone the recommended deadening, as well as a pair of 816A low frequency horns in their original wooden cabinets. 

Since its discovery in November 2024, all electrical components have undergone extensive testing, cleaning and restoration. This has enabled us to have what is quite possibly a one of a kind vintage Altec Lansing System.
